Rick Garrett, Sr. has been married to Debra Garrett for 40 years. He is a devoted husband, father of six, grandfather of 17, great-grandfather of five, and a spiritual mentor to many.



Born in Texas and raised in Florence, AZ, Rick grew up in a single-parent home, overcoming challenges through the guidance of his mother and grandmother. Despite hardships, he persevered, learning from mentors who shaped him into a leader, husband, and father.

For 37 years, he has worked alongside his wife in founding and supporting Christian daycare centers, private schools, and various entrepreneurial endeavors. He has also served in ministry for over 30 years, including his role as Chaplain at EastLake Mortuary and his ordination under Dr. Bill & Veronica Winston.

Rick is committed to helping others achieve personal and spiritual growth, counseling individuals and families, and equipping church leaders through his teachings. As Senior Pastor of "The Message" Church, he and Debra strive to transform lives through God’s word, fostering a welcoming and purpose-driven community. They are also launching the “One Stop Life Center” to address holistic life needs.

A lifelong learner, Rick holds a Theology degree and is a John Maxwell Certified Coach, Trainer, and Speaker. His passion for service and mentorship continues to impact many, guiding them toward faith, purpose, and success.
