Men's Ministry Vision Statement

"Every Man Is a Champion"
 No matter his past or mistakes, every man carries a God-given Champion within. Through faith, courage, and purpose, we help awaken that calling.

"As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another."

Vision Verse

This scripture is the rallying cry of the Iron Sharpens Iron Champions Men’s Ministry. It calls forth men from every background to rise up in spiritual strength, to prepare for the battles of life, and to awaken the mighty man within. Through God's Word and brotherhood, we declare that even the weak will find strength, and every man will walk boldly in his calling as a Champion.

 

Our Purpose
The purpose of the Iron Sharpens Iron Champions Men’s Ministry is to unite the men of The Message Church and the broader community to build strong faith, cultivate courage, trust in God, serve others, and unlock the Champion within each man.

This ministry offers a space for men to connect and grow together in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Through fellowship, studying God’s Word, sharing life experiences, and embracing our divine potential, we aim to become more like our Heavenly Father—faithful in our service to Him, our families, our church, and our community.

As Champions, we are committed to becoming the Godly men we are called to be:

  • The spiritual leaders of our homes
  • Loving and devoted husbands
  • Strong and focused single men
  • Caring and present fathers
  • Influential leaders in our families, churches, and communities

Throughout the year, we provide spiritual development opportunities including:

  • Monthly Gatherings of Champions
  • The annual Men’s Midnight Rumble every January, designed to give men a renewed focus for the New Year
  • Special moments of intercession through M@P (Men @ Prayer)

Together, we sharpen one another, growing into the champions God created us to be.
